About the Chair:

Solid ash wooden chair with handwoven paper cord seat. Though Buri is based on the traditional “Friulana” model found in many Italian homes, restaurants and taverns, it differs from this archetype thanks to the amble size of the seat, and sophisticated details of the highest crafted quality like the smooth joining of the crossbars with the posts. The names for all of Internoitaliano’s objects are a tribute to minor Italians towns and villages, those that are rarely celebrated, but nonetheless are just as real and representative of a suffused and authentic national identity. Buttrio (Friulian: Buri) is a comune (municipality) in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, with a population of 4,050 people
