About The Designer:

Based in Berlin, Milena Kling designs and creates objects, concepts and interior spaces. Focusing on raw materials and unique creation methods, she develops products and installations for her clients from around the world. With a long and diverse background in architecture her work has a great fascination for natural occurrences, and extensive research on the subject. Her use of exploring experimental methods is very well articulated in the pieces she creates. Milena  graduated from the University of Arts Berlin in 2012 from the product & process design program. Her work has been nominated for various awards, including the international “Modern Craft of the Year Award 2013” and “Talente”. Her work has also been showcased in several group and solo exhibitions and is represented by “Die Neue Sammlung/ Pinakothek der Moderne Munich.” She creates projects for her design studio and has also created many settings and installations for world renowned brands such as Hermés, New York Times, Nomos and multiple magazines, while working as a designer for artist Sarah Illenberger

A design label Founded in Berlin in 2014 and now based out of Hamburg. With an ethos of creating multifunctional furniture that allows a freedom for the customer with the designing and arranging of the pieces within their space. Focusing on timeless designs that can adapt and expand for the individual. Using the highest quality of materials and craftsmanship to create their furniture in order to ensure both sustainability and a long lasting product

About The Product: 

The Sphere bowl is mouth-blown at 1,000 degrees Celsius by master glassmakers in the Czech Republic. Starting its life as a fully spherical glass shape which through the process of inhaling creates its final unique form. Made from two separate glass entities that come together to create a beautiful whole. Designed by Milena Kling as part of Studio Hausen's Elements Collection made up of tablewares
