About the Designer:
A student at the Beaux-Arts, then at the Gobelins school, Amaury Lonchamp started out as a photographer for London decorators and architects. Within a few years, used to working with such furniture objects, he was seduced by the subject, and thought of creating his own design studio. From his balcony in London, he experimented, researched and developed his project. After three years of experimentation, he created MOODLIGHT Studio and set up his workshop in Besançon. The collection presented today is the result of this long development work
About the Lamp:
Different. Sophisticated. Unique. This table lamp is different thanks to its handmade craftsmanship, achieving a refined simplicity.
By incorporating plastic or organic waste into their creations and specifically brewery waste for this lamp, Moodlight Studio challenges themselves to transform the waste, destined for destruction, into the absolute, destined to remain. A craft that gives their objects their uniqueness.
Handmade, aerial, lights made and thought with the ambition to make a poetic universe out of these objects of everyday life
The lampshades are heated and then formed by hand. Made of plexiglass, they are detachable, interchangeable and completely recyclable.
Entirely handmade in our workshop in Besançon.
