Sprinkles Uniform Melange Fabric
Sprinkles is a joyful knitted upholstery textile designed by Dutch designer Bertjan Pot.
Playful Sprinkles has more than one face. Characterized by volume and comfort, a middle layer of polyester filling has been inserted into Sprinkles construction between its two layers of knit.
A close-up inspection of the knitted surface reveals a kaleidoscopic gathering of tiny coloured dots. Parallel to the thrill of a fun-fair, the dots alter in colour depending on the perspective of the spectator. Looked upon from a distance, the sparkling colours are subdued creating a subtle melange.
