Blurring the lines between function and sculpture, the Fold Hang coffee table by Atelier Fomenta challenges traditional classifications of furniture. Occupying a space between table and seat, structure and softness, it is a piece that invites both utility and contemplation.

Rooted in the concept of an "undisciplined textile," Fold Hang reimagines fabric not as something passively draped, but as a form actively asserting itself in space. At times, it appears as a smooth, firm surface—resolute and table-like in its presence. At others, it transforms into what resembles a folded cushion, offering a moment of rest for the body or a softened contrast to its more architectural aspects.
