A sculptural meditation on the poetry of proximity, the TACTO chair by UNEVEN OBJECTS captures the very essence of connection within its silhouette. Derived from the Latin tactus, the piece explores the delicate threshold between restraint and intimacy, lingering in a room like the persistent memory of a silken touch. Its form is an exercise in quiet intentionality: a solid, grounded seat held in poised equilibrium by rounded limbs that gravitate toward one another without ever surrendering their individuality. There is a palpable tension at the edge of unity, as if the structure is held together by mutual agreement and architectural trust rather than mere hardware. From the curved backrest that flows with equestrian grace into the rear legs to the softer, more human cadence of the front supports, every line is emotionally sympathetic.
