Temù Bar Stool
Temù Bar Stool
By Internoitaliano
Designed By Giulio Iacchetti
Solid wood stool. Substantially, the idea behind this project is to create a stool solely using wood turning. The structure consists of a single element (i.e., a circular head in which a cylindrical ashwood rod is inserted centrally). Joining three such elements constitutes an unprecedented trefoil seating system that is surprisingly comfortable and effective. Temù— this is the name of the stool — is presented in two different heights, one for the kitchen snack counter, the other designed for café counters.
The names for all of Internoitaliano’s objects are a tribute to minor Italians towns and villages, those that are rarely celebrated, but nonetheless are just as real and representative of a suffused and authentic national identity. Temù is situated on the river Oglio, in the upper Val Camonica, is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Brescia in the Italian region Lombardia
